Unlike most skill-focused internships, you will experience authentic community in a work-environment, challenging you to grow as a leader of integrity and capability.

For the internship, we are taking college students who have training and interest in the following areas:

• Network Design and Maintenance
• Research and Development

A great benefit of S.I.P. is the 4 to 6 weeks of intentional mentoring you’ll receive from Impact staff members.

The materials you produce during the Impact Summer Internship Program, such as ministry brochures, evangelistic articles, ministry materials, videos and event set-ups, will be a significant contribution to help leaders of African descent take the truth of Jesus Christ to their campus, community and the world!

You will experience great fun, relationships, spiritual mentoring and ministry training. During the day you will work on priority projects with collaborative teams, utilizing your specialized skills while also acquiring new skill sets. You’ll benefit from our unique and engaging professional development series, The Well, plus learn how to share your faith creatively through social media outreach. One day a week you will be able to minister within the Orlando African American community through service and also share your faith on the campus of the University of Central Florida.

In the evenings and weekends you will engage in Inductive Bible Study methods, share lifemaps, have family dinners, enjoy hang out times and benefit from weekly Men’s and Women’s Times. We’ll also check out local spots like Kelly Park natural springs, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, plus opportunities to enjoy the Orlando tourist attractions like the Disney Theme Parks, Universal Studios Orlando/CityWalk, Daytona Beach and much more!

The cost of this mission covers housing, materials, events and per-diem for meals. Doesn’t cover travel costs. But we will provide training to help you develop a team of ministry partners to cover your total summer internship cost including travel.

Spend ten days in New Orleans where you will connect with other men, receive mentoring, experience the adventure of ministering together in the community and gain experience and feedback to further equip you as a leader. Note: This event is for men only.
